| Sailed across the Atlantic in 19 days on board "War Baby" (see page) and crewed on "War Baby" in the wildly exciting and successful America's Cup Jubilee. | | 2001 | Awarded a contract by the Goverment of Canada to appraise approximately 200 vessels. | | 1999 | Became an Accredited Marine Surveyor after qualifying in the 5 year training program of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, the largest world-wide professional surveying group. | 1999

| Accepted as an Associate Member of the Marine Underwriters Association of B. Became a junior partner in 1966 and co-owner from 1987 to 1997 when I took early retirement. The company specializes in process engineering controls and employs mechanical engineers and engineering technologists. It has been a supplier of systems and instruments to B. C. Ferries, Allied Shipbuilders, the Esquimalt Naval Yard and other industrial and marine businesses. Participated in a wide range of engineering seminars and trade shows. | | 1956-64 | Held a variety of accounting management positions, including Supervisor of Accounting for the University of British Columbia, and Controller for Shanahan's Ltd., a local chemical company. | | 1954-55 | British Army Intelligence Corps.
